Live shows organized by GRASSHOPPER MANUFACTURE and SUDA51 are typically used to discuss the processes behind GRASSHOPPER‘s games, the company’s philosophies, and even simply any outside topics that are of interest to SUDA51. The structure of these shows varies from keynote addresses, mellow conversations between SUDA51 and his peers from within the industry, and live demonstrations of GRASSHOPPER games, to downright partying at various clubs around Tokyo. These shows commonly feature musical guests and are also occasionally used as a platform for announcing upcoming games. Famitsu filmed the first two HOPPER’s events and released some of the footage on the FamitsuWaveDVD for April 2006 and July 2007. Some of these shows have also been streamed live.
