This pre-filmed presentation was shared on June 15, 2023. It was hosted by GRASSHOPPER MANUFACTURE community managers James Mountain and Maddie Copp. Information was given for several games and other ventures during the 11-minute video. A showreel containing most of the studio’s games was shown, including the canceled Project SSK, Project MGD, and Project GMC, and Shadows of the DAMNED: HELLA REMASTERED was confirmed for a likely release on “all current platforms.” Artwork by Peach MoMoKo celebrating GRASSHOPPER‘s various characters, or G-MEN, was shared. Fake trailers for the 2163 film PISTOL YAKUZA and video games PISTOL YAKUZA: THE VIDEOGAME and ELECTRIC THUNDER TIGER 14 were shown. The Grasshopper Online Store was announced, as was Tadayuki Nomaru‘s 能丸督之の世界 art exhibition. Lastly, SUDA51 was caught playing the next major release from GRASSHOPPER, however, the playable character was hidden with a mosaic.
Grasshopper Direct 2023 was first teased as early as March 29, 2023, when the website grasshoppermanufacture25th.com went online and began a 71-day countdown, culminating with the June 8 tease of Shadows of the DAMNED: HELLA REMASTERED and Grasshopper Direct 2023. grasshoppermanufacture25th.com then began counting down to the airing of Grasshopper Direct 2023 on June 14, however, technical problems caused the video to be delayed by an extra 75 minutes.

- Grasshopper Direct 2023 was one of the rare times GRASSHOPPER MANUFACTURE acknowledged SHINING SOUL as part of its catalog, although only its logo appeared during the showreel.
- While The Frikanih was given credit for the fake ads in the video, he only worked on the PISTOL YAKUZA trailer in particular. The ELECTRIC THUNDER TIGER 14 and PISTOL YAKUZA: THE VIDEOGAME segments remain uncredited.
