Pytel tried connecting with Magusa after learning she was an accomplice of his father Ronotra Koss in seeking vengeance for Pytel‘s alleged death, which had been staged in official records. After Magusa‘s death, Pytel reviewed her autopsy report, where he learned most of what he would come to know about her.
