Power

This gameplay mechanic was central to combat in the NO MORE HEROES series. It mainly measured the battery level of Travis Touchdown‘s beam katana. It also referred to the effectiveness of Shinobu Jacobs‘ own katana, JACOB’S LADDER, and the power supplied to the digitized weapons of Travis, Shinobu, Badman, and Bad Girl when fighting through the game worlds of the DEATH DRIVE MK2.

Prior to NO MORE HEROES, this mechanic was used in SAMURAI CHAMPLOO SiDeTRACKED. Over time, neglecting to repair weapons would result in them breaking permanently.
