This animation was included as a special feature in the Japanese HOPPER’S Edition of NO MORE HEROES 2: DESPERATE STRUGGLE.
In a story set between NO MORE HEROES and NO MORE HEROES 2: DESPERATE STRUGGLE, Travis Touchdown became a local hero to the Santa Destroy community after becoming a top-ranked assassin, but his fame began to have consequences for himself and his closest friend, Georgy Bishop. NO MORE HEROES 1.5: DESPERATE STRUGGLE was only available in the form of a Japanese DVD for many years, however, it was dubbed into English and uploaded to GRASSHOPPER MANUFACTURE‘s YouTube channel on September 23, 2021.

Notes
- When the animation was officially dubbed into English in 2021, one of Travis‘ lines at the unveiling of his statue became, “I’m a goddamn hero!” This mirrored FU‘s declaration, “I’m a GODDAMN SUPERHERO,” in NO MORE HEROES Ⅲ, released shortly before the English dub of NO MORE HEROES 1.5: DESPERATE STRUGGLE. In the Japanese version from 2010, Travis simply shouted with excitement that he was a hero.
- Prior to its official English version, NO MORE HEROES 1.5: DESPERATE STRUGGLE was translated into Spanish by SUAVE-SAN SUBS in a video that is no longer available. It was then translated from Spanish to English by WHATISUTUBE and published on January 8, 2011.
