This location had a major role in FROG MINUTES. It was a field in Asia and the setting for a diverse ecosystem of frogs and the various species of insects which sustained them. This ecosystem included Japanese Tree Frogs, Painted Mantellas, Blue Poison Dart Frogs, Bell’s Horned Frogs, Asiatic Toads, Giant Bullfrogs, Ruby-eyed Tree Frogs, Red-eyed Leaf Frogs, Pearl-eyed Tree Frogs, Giant Monkey Frogs, Snails, Flies, Dragonflies, Butterflies, and Grasshoppers.

  • The actual location of FROG MINUTES was never specified until the original painting was displayed at the 能丸督之の世界 art exhibition under the title 背景 (アジア), meaning Background (Asia).
  • While the field was located in Asia, the only species in the game that could also be found in real-world Asia were Japanese tree frogs and Asiatic toads.
