This motel room had a major role in the NO MORE HEROES series. It was Travis Touchdown‘s home for the majority of his appearances. By the time of NO MORE HEROES Ⅲ, Travis also took ownership of room 107, joining both units together with a fire pole.
Travis’ decor through games
While the full NO MORE HEROES story took place over more than a decade, there were a number of things that continued to reappear anytime his motel home was shown. A small square picture that hung in an alcove in Travis‘ bathroom in the first two games later hung in his bedroom in NO MORE HEROES Ⅲ. Another painting hung over his bed in all three main games, however, by the third game it had moved closer to the ceiling. Travis kept a Bullish Kitten body pillow on his bed in all three games. Also hanging in his bedroom were the Pure White Giant Glastonbury poster from his living room in the first game, a Bizarre Jelly 5 poster, and the masks of EL MARINO, EL MARINO JR., MUERTE 00, MUERTE 99, EL SOL, LA FLOR, and LA LLUVIA.
Travis‘ living room had a new minifridge however the same box of cat food remained placed beside it. Travis‘ stereo seen in the first game sat on a shelf. Travis‘ movie shelf had changed however some of the films were in their identical spots from the first game. Two VHS tapes placed on Travis‘ VCR in the first game now sat on top of his disc machine. The surfboards from NO MORE HEROES 2: DESPERATE STRUGGLE still hung on the wall as well.
Travis‘ bathroom in NO MORE HEROES Ⅲ was familiar but the furnishings had changed. There was a new shelf and towel rack attached to the wall, the toilet paper hanger was more ornate than the one attached to the wall in the first two games, and a new tree sat beside Travis‘ toilet where the previous one did. The bathtub and carpet had also changed.
Travis had taken over room 107 as well by the time of NO MORE HEROES Ⅲ and the bathtub and minifridge from the first game appeared here, although they may have been the ones that originally came with the room and not the ones from Travis‘ upstairs suite.
