KILL THE PAST: 25 Years of Grasshopper Manufacture

This collector’s book about GRASSHOPPER MANUFACTURE published by LOST IN CULT will be released in 2025. It will contain interviews with staff members including Tadayuki Nomaru, Nobutaka Ichiki, Ren Yamazaki, and James Mountain, and artwork from GRASSHOPPER‘s games, many of which will be published for the first time. Works known to be acknowledged by the book include The Silver, Flower, Sun, and Rain, MICHIGAN: REPORT FROM HELL, killer7, シルバー事件25区, NO MORE HEROES, NO MORE HEROES 2: DESPERATE STRUGGLE, FROG MINUTES, Shadows of the DAMNED, and NO MORE HEROES Ⅲ. Some pieces from the book have been teased early, such as the Butterfly Man by Eisin Sasaki and Tadayuki Nomaru, killer7 butterfly artwork by Eisin Sasaki, a painting of Paula Wellington from Shadows of the DAMNED by Tadayuki Nomaru, and designs for the BLOOD BERRY from NO MORE HEROES by Shigeto Koyama. LOST IN CULT marketing director Ryan Brown also shared some details about the book on GHM Lost Media ahead of its official reveal.

The deluxe edition will include four essay books authored by Ed Smith, Ashley Bardhan, Diego Argüello, and Suriel Vazquez, centered on killer7, Shadows of the DAMNED, NO MORE HEROES, and The SILVERCASE respectively. Deluxe collections will also include trading cards, Shadows of the DAMNED and The SILVERCASE pins, NO MORE HEROES 2: DESPERATE STRUGGLE and The 25th Ward: The Silver Case posters, Flower, Sun, and Rain, Shadows of the DAMNED, KILLER IS DEAD, and NO MORE HEROES art prints, and The 25th Ward: The Silver Case and FROG MINUTES stickers.

The first 1,000 deluxe copies of KILL THE PAST: 25 Years of Grasshopper Manufacture will be autographed by SUDA51.
