These locations had a background role in the NO MORE HEROES series. During FU‘s invasion of Utopiland, many areas of the megalopolis were sectioned off with concrete barriers and common fences, prohibiting regular access to these parts. There were some exceptions to these restrictions, however, such as when Kimmy Love held a concert inside the Forbidden Area of Perfect World. Other landmarks inside the Forbidden Area included Happy Farm and Moon Lake in Perfect World, the Loop Line and Neo Brazil Tower in Neo Brazil, and Damon Tower.

Notes
- Speaking to Siliconera in 2021, SUDA51 revealed that the Forbidden Area was originally meant to be fully accessible to players. After nearly completing these parts of the game, GRASSHOPPER MANUFACTURE determined the full scale of Utopiland had a noticeable impact on the game’s performance and decided to reduce the size of certain areas. This was most visibly achieved by simply placing obstacles in front of the bridges and pathways leading to these scrapped sections. In spite of this, there are some Defense Missions that take place in areas that were blocked off, and these can be seen on the map. The only region left completely intact is Thunderdome.

- “Honestly, we had created that entire area. It was basically finished. Unfortunately due to tech reasons, we weren’t able to keep it into the game. The processing load was just a bit too hardcore. So we unfortunately had to scrap it.” (https://www.siliconera.com/interview-suda51-no-more-heroes-3-dlc/)
