This YouTube channel is the official home for GRASSHOPPER MANUFACTURE videos. Some of these are conventional game trailers, however, most are episodes from multiple ongoing series, generally directed by Takuma Araki. These are Creator’s File_#1, Grasshopper Direct, Kinema51, ROAD TO BOSSFIGHT, and THE DEV ROOM. One-off documentaries featuring a tour of GRASSHOPPER‘s Yabukiri Studio and Tadayuki Nomaru‘s 2023 art exhibition have also been released.
Originally the channel was only used for trailers and clips from a handful of more recent games, and may have been created after the loss of their earlier channel, GrasshopperOffline. In 2022, SUDA51 began to recognize YouTube as a key area for strengthening the studio’s connection with its fans, and so one month after a teaser was shared, the channel was rebranded with the first episodes of Creator’s File_#1 and THE DEV ROOM.
