Belly to Belly

This wrestling move appeared in the NO MORE HEROES series. It was the second suplex M.S. taught to Travis Touchdown. Eventually Travis lost touch with the move, but was reminded of it when he found a letter from M.S. at Body Slam Beach. M.S. described the Belly to Belly as “just common sense in Calgary.”

Notes

  • Both this technique and the Double Arm Suplex were known as Satan’s Ferris wheel.
  • The Japanese term スロイダー has no direct translation into another language, however, in English it resembles the Fire Pro Wrestling World move Dearport Schleuder, with schleuder being a German word for slingshot. Both moves are performed in a similar but not exact way.
  • This technique was one of Akira Maeda’s signature wrestling moves.
  • M.S. mentioning Calgary in his letter to Travis was likely a nod to Stampede Wrestling, a wrestling promotion based in Calgary, Alberta.
