  • Before its official launch, a demo of シルバー事件25区 appeared at the Tokyo Game Show 2005 on September 17 and 18. Attendees also received a シルバー事件25区 mobile wallpaper, badges, and clear file folders with Takashi Miyamoto artwork.
  • Cellphones that officially supported the game included the FOMA P901iTV, P902i, F902i, SO902i, and SH902i. In recent years, it has also been seen loaded on the N900i, F901iC, SH901iS, N902i, F903iX HIGH-SPEED, P904i, as well as several other devices.
  • The game required an i-mode subscription, which was a ¥315 monthly fee, and cost a further ¥210 to purchase additional chapters. On Vodafone live!, all chapters cost ¥315.
  • On August 8, 2006, Genki Mobile placed the distribution of シルバー事件25区 on hold. Eventually, the licenses with DoCoMo and SoftBank lapsed entirely, leading to the game’s termination on February 28, 2007. The game later returned on December 17, 2007, under the distribution of Liveware Inc.
